Piaget Blacktie watches
The Longines Heritage Diver 1967 has a 42mm-wide steel case with a bordeaux aluminum bezel which has not only a dive time scale, but also a 12-hour scale that allows for a fast and easy view of another timezone. To use a 12-hour bezel you simply rotate the bezel so that the hour differential (the number of hours between the timezone currently showing on your watch and the timezone you wish to track) is at 12 o'clock. You can now read the 2nd timezone hour using the bezel scale.
The black-colored steel unit is a module that slides on to a specially made tough but very thin NATO-style strap sitting under your wrist while your traditional watch (a Montblanc Timewalker, in this case) sits on the top of your wrist. The module has a screen, includes built-in sensors, and communicates with your mobile phone. It offers the ability to receive phone notifications, track fitness activity, and perform other standard "smartwatch functions" that are becoming more and more popular. The move is clever and simple and the monochromatic OLED screen is neither distracting nor unwelcome.

Even though the Radiomir case is 47mm wide, it does not wear as large as one might expect. This is mostly because of the bar-style lugs which do not really jut out (as they do on the Radiomir 1940 case style). That means the lug-to-lug length on the watch isn't dramatically more than the case width. This, in addition to the flat caseback makes for an extremely comfortable fit on the wrist when it comes to the Radiomir 47mm case (which is water resistant to 100 meters).
First of all, it's a capable dive watch. The massive, 45 millimeter wide and 53 mm tall case looks very robust, and it does those looks justice with 300 meters of water resistance. While a dive watch is by no means required to have a treated, coated case, one of the main reasons I chose to cover the Florejn Drie was that I was curious to see what level of quality could they offer for the DLC-coating at this relatively reasonable price point.
Jean-Claude Biver: Yes, as already said here above, we have developed quite an interesting and important collection in our core price segment as well as in the entry price of it. Entry prices are always quite essential and important as they enable customers to enter into the brand. That’s why special efforts have been made in this entry price segment.
